課程概述 Course Description:

This course is designed to help first year students improve their overall English proficiency through listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  It is also designed to develop students' communicative competence to manage daily life conversations and presentation skills for general and academic purposes.

教學目標 Course Objectives:

The prime goal of this course is to shape the automatic learning and independent study so to make use of the abundant resources in all possible means.  Apart from the weekly lecture, there will be on-line learning platform for learners to do more practice so to increase more contact with the target language.  After having taken this course, students are expected to consolidate their knowledge of English language and have the qualifications to use English without hesitation in any occasions.

一、教學目標
