教學內容 Course Outline

課程概述 Course Description:

The goal of the course is to make students more confident in speaking and understanding English. This course teaches students some important skills in listening to a short conversation, long conversation or speech, and techniques for taking notes.To help students communicate more effectively, new vocabulary will be taught in each topic and students are required to practice it in class.

教學目標 Course Objectives:

This course helps students to:  improve listening ability, including pronunciation and vocabulary  discuss a topic, present their ideas and opinions more effectively  organize their thoughts in a logical way

  • 教學目標Course Objectives

The goal of the course is to make students more confident in speaking and understanding English. This course teaches students some important skills in listening to a short conversation, long conversation or speech, and techniques for taking notes. Also, students are encouraged to discuss relevant topics and express their thoughts clearly in English. To help students communicate more effectively, new vocabulary will be taught in each topic and students are required to practice it in class.

 

This course helps students to:

ü improve listening ability, including pronunciation and vocabulary

ü present their ideas and opinions more effectively

ü organize their thoughts in a logical way

-Textbook: World English 3

-Studio Classroom (Advanced): Listen to Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday’s program (5 days a week) from October 2018 to December 2018

-Videos on various topics

-Listening practice/text

 

四、實施方法:講授、討論

Teaching is mainly conduced through student activities. Listen to Studio Classroom (Advanced), and we will have a listening test every week. The course has strict requirements of regular attendance, active participation in classroom practice, and completion of assigned tasks. Grade points will be deducted for each absence for which a valid reason is not provided in advance.
