一、教學目標：
- To help students learn techniques in taking notes for lectures
- To guide students to listen to main ideas and details
- To guide students to listen critically and objectively
- To improve students’ confidence when expressing themselves in front of a group
- To improve students’ fluency and accuracy in speaking English
- To familiarize students with communicative strategies and the functional use of English
- To give students information about sociolinguistic rules that may differ from those in their own culture.
- To provide students with activities to practice their listening and speaking skills

四、實施方法：
- Weekly vocabulary and listening comprehension tests based on the selected materials that students are required to preview beforehand
