課程概述 Course Description：
The goal of the course is to make students more confident in speaking and understanding English. This course teaches students some important skills in listening to a short conversation, long conversation or speech, and techniques for taking notes.To help students communicate more effectively, new vocabulary will be taught in each topic and students are required to practice it in class.

The goal of the course is to make students more confident in speaking and understanding English. This course teaches students some important skills in listening to a short conversation, long conversation or speech, and techniques for taking notes. Also, students are encouraged to discuss relevant topics and express their thoughts clearly in English. To help students communicate more effectively, new vocabulary will be taught in each topic and students are required to practice it in class.

四、實施方法：講授、討論
Teaching is mainly conducted through student activities. The course has strict requirements of regular attendance, active participation in classroom practice, and completion of assigned tasks. Grade points will be deducted for each absence for which a valid reason is not provided in advance.
