課程概述 Course Description:
The Advanced English course aims to further enhance students’ communication competence and to strengthen their reading skills as well as their understanding in terms of the writing process. This course is also designed to help students review grammar, analyze sentence structures, and improve their English listening and conversational ability in class. Besides, the instructor will also strengthen students’ TOEIC or GEPT test taking skills. The students will be required to read and do exercises after class every week.
教學目標 Course Objectives:
The prime goal of this course is to shape the automatic learning and independent study so to make use of the abundant resources in all possible means. Apart from the weekly lecture, there will be on-line learning platform for learners to do more practice so to increase more contact with the target language. After having taken this course, students are expected to consolidate their knowledge of English language and have the qualifications to use English without hesitation in any occasions.
