教學內容 Course Outline

課程概述 Course Description：

This course teaches students the science of speech production and perception, including (i) the basic properties of speech sounds; (ii) the physiological properties of the speech-producing apparatus; and (iii) phonetic transcriptions. The sound patterns of English are the main focus of this&nbs

Throughout the semester, students are expected to learn the articulatory and acoustic features of speech sounds, and what linguistic properties distinguish various sounds in English.
