教學內容 Course Outline

課程概述 Course Description：

This course aims to help students be familiar with features and functions of the (occidental) children’s  literature (CL), love to read CL, and become good storytellerd/

教學目標 Course Objectives：

1.  To be familiar with features and functions of the (occidental) children’s  literature. 2.  To develop the ability of evaluation of the children’s literature. 3.  To help students expand various reading skills by reading some representative children’s literature. 4.  To help students cultivate interests and develop abilities in teaching English in the content area of children’s literature.

教學內容 Course Outline：

第01週教綱 outline：1.  Introducing the course 2.  Inviting readers to children’s lit. 3.  Overviewing children’s lit. 4.  Discussing the importance of children’s lit. in the language arts curriculum.
第02週教綱 outline：1. Discussing some issues on children’s lit. 2. Reading stories
第03週教綱 outline：1. Discussing the importance of teaching of children’s lit. from three aspects. 2. Discussing the range and genres of children’s lit. 3.  Reading stories
