課程概述 Course Description：

Partial differential equations (PDEs) underpin all of applied mathematics and enable us to model practical problems like forecasting the weather, designing efficient aeroplanes and faster racing cars, and assessing the potential returns from investments in financial stocks and shares. In this course, we will study how to find a solution to a given PDE problem - either analytically, or else numerically.
