教學內容 Course Outline

課程概述 Course Description：

Various skills and concepts will be introduced and discussed, then observed and analyzed in representative compositions before finally being put into practice by composing music. The primary emphasis is on students mastering the techniques and concepts of good music composition in a personal creative way. For that reason, each student is expected to adapt and adjust various techniques in order to begin the long process of developing an individual composing/artistic voice.

成績評量方式(%) Grading Policy

  • Students grades are a combination of the student’s weekly progress and diligence, the quality of the music composed, the quality of the final score and parts produced, how well the piece was rehearsed before the final performance, and the average score of a three-member composition jury at the end of the semester.
