教學內容 Course Outline

課程概述 Course Description：

This course will help build up students’ critical thinking skills in many aspects of English learning. Students will be exposed to contents that can bring the world to the classroom in hope to raise learners’ motivation. Instructional materials will both engage students with global issues and facilitate their academic learning. Most importantly in this semester, students will be led to develop listening and speaking skills conducive to comprehension and useful expressions as well.

教學目標 Course Objectives：

The main aims of the course are to raise awareness as well as to develop listening and speaking strategies for students. Students will be drilled with exercises to employ some top-down and bottom-up listening strategies. Meanwhile,  speaking strategies will be taught to students to help them navigate the process of meaningful communication.
