教學內容 Course Outline
課程概述 Course Description:
1. This course is designed to introduce pre-service teachers to theory, concept and practice in the following two fields: (1) curriculum development and design (2) bilingual education curriculum design. 2. This course is also designed to develop pre-service teachers’ abilities of designing bilingual lesson plans. 3. The media of instruction in this course are both English (50%-70%) and Chinese (50%-30%). 4. Class format will include lectures, group discussion, collaborative learning, oral presentation, and tests.
教學目標 Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, pre-service teachers are expected to 1. demonstrate knowledge of the topics related to curriculum development and design, including its concept, theories, models, course objectives, course implementation, course evaluation, and school-based curriculum. 2. demonstrate knowledge of curriculum guideline of 12-year basic education and competence-oriented curriculum and instruction. 3. demonstrate in-depth understanding of bilingual education curriculum design, including its concept and practice. 4. demonstrate an ability to design a bilingual lesson plan. 5. enhance the abilities of expressing ideas in English.
