教學內容 Course Outline

課程概述 Course Description：

The course consists of lectures, exercises, and quizzes. Learning is first achieved by principle lectures and exercises, then practiced through critical thinking, and completed with review quizzes, mid-term and final exams. The course has strict requirements of regular and punctual attendance. Students are expected to come to the class prepared and participate attentively. Not only will grade points be deducted for each absence without reasonable notice, but students will also risk missing the information that is necessary to score high in the final exam.

This course aims at enhancing students' reading skills and word power in different aspects of life. It helps students to develop their comprehension and fluency in reading English. The main concern is to train students to read for a purpose, for meaning, and for details.
