一、教學目標:
- To introduce students to a selection of important authors and works from world literatures written or translated into English
- To acquaint students with the historical contexts and cultural backgrounds of these literary woks
- To train students to make primary research, oral presentation and written report on literary topics
- To enhance students’ ability of independent, original, critical and creative thinking
- To arouse students’ interest for contemporary cultural trends and involve them in cultural activities
