一、教學目標：
This course aims to upgrade students’ English ability in various fields. The background knowledge of western culture and social sciences will be provided in the course, and the intensive listening, speaking, and as well as reading skills will be trained in the course. The general goal of this course is to help students to be able to understand diverse real life topics and to think critically and then to response to each topic with their own thoughts confidently. Students will also develop the essential grammars and vocabulary from different Ted talk videos and reading texts. This course is designed for especially the first year students.
