一、活動概述:
    本次本校太極龜籃球校隊課後輔導每周一由國立中正大學講師希康安老師擔任英文課授課教師,課程為期一學期,以音樂融入課程教學,進行單字和翻譯的教學,旨在激發學生的學習動機,並幫助他們打下扎實的學習基礎。除此之外,希康安老師也將英文繪本納入教學,以簡易的英文句型,引導學生學會英文的「完成式」和「過去式」的句型。
  • At the beginning of each class and halfway through, students will be encouraged to put away their cell phones and participate more in the class;
  • Depending on student learning progress 4 to 5 English songs will be taught during this semester, more time will be spent learning and rehearsing each song;
  • Only after the class as a whole can adequately perform each song and we have analyzed the lyrics plus extracted key words and grammar points; will we move onto the next song; this means
  • Approximately two classes are needed to learn and rehearse each song, however during each class more time will be spent learning and analyzing different key words from the song lyrics plus example sentences will be provided to deepen understanding of the lyrics; also, 
  • A range of different grammar and word games will be integrated into each class to link key words into everyday English usage;
  • The last 2 classes before the end of semester presentation will be used to revise and rehearse each song up to performance standard;
  • Remaining classes will either be storybook or Chinese to English song translation classes;
二、問題與討論:
     Spring semester evaluation:
  • Compared to last year, fewer English songs and more storybooks were taught during this semester;
  • Student feedback suggests some students prefer more English song classes;
  • One of the main aims of this class is for students to perform 3 to 4 English songs during the end of semester presentation;
  • Students are pleasant and polite towards the teacher; however,
  • Class observations reveal 3 to 4 students tend to participate in the classes more than others;
  • Other students were reminded throughout the semester to participate more in the classes and spend less time getting distracted by cell phones as this impacts learning;
  • Given some students have indicated they prefer more English song classes and the aim of this class is to perform songs at the end of the semester, a revised teaching strategy is required to encourage more students to participate in the classes;

  • S4:Hallelujah很好聽(英文課)。
